Fischione hosts training for global service providers

October 9, 2014

From October 6-9, Fischione distributors and service personnel from around the globe gathered at the Fischione Instruments headquarters in Export, PA for intensive four-day training on Fischione products.

Led by Service Manager Paula Grendys, the Fischione Agents Service Training (FAST) attendees worked with instruments that included Fischione’s extensive ion beam preparation product line and Fischione’s contamination solutions. Other topics covered by the training were specimen preparation, managing electrostatic discharge, remote diagnostics, and Fischione tomography holders.

Attendees also had the opportunity for an up-close look at Fischione’s new ion mill, the Model 1080 PicoMill™ specimen preparation system, which is scheduled for commercial release in summer 2015.

“This intensive training represents Fischione Instruments’ ongoing commitment to deliver exceptional customer service,” said Grendys. “Our goal is to ensure that the high quality of service that we offer in our factory is also delivered at the customer site.”
